Next tying session: December 1st 2018

Just a reminder that this Saturday, December 1st is the next meeting of Kids on the Fly in Lafayette NJ! We are meeting at Whitewater flies in Lafayette N.J. located in “the shoppes at Lafayette!” Tying starts at 9am and as always there’s no cost to tie!

Kids On the Fly- Meeting Recap Jan 6, 2018

Our January 6th meeting of "Kids on the Fly" Northwest, NJ was a success! Along with going over the basics of using tools We tied a handful of woolly buggers, and Robert Hopkens taught the kids (and a few of us!) how to tie an emerger using only EP Trigger Point fibers. We want to thank the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild, White Water Flies, the volunteers and everyone who came out to support Saturday. Its going to be a cold weekend here in Northwestern New Jersey, and there's no better time to get into fly tying like the winter time. The bitter cold can keep many kids indoors and fly tying is a great way to pass the time and the tradition along. So wake up the kids and shake that cabin fever loose for a Kids on The Fly meeting in Lafayette, NJ! Please join us Saturday January 6th, 2018 at White Water Flies in Lafayette, N.J. for our first tying group. We will be going over the basics of using tying tools and tying the woolly bugger. The class will run from 9am to 11:30am and all tools and materials will be provided! Stop on over and say hi!
